The six rooms are designed with country cottage charm in mind along with all modern conveniences. Three rooms are located on one wing of the bungalow while the other wing consists of the remaining three rooms. Two luxurious bathrooms are situated in the two wings of the bungalow shared by the guests who occupy the rooms in each wing.
Each room has a king-sized double bed and another single bed, a large wardrobe, dressing table and a large clothes rack.
Each bathroom has a bath area with hot water shower, wash basin and toilet in one unit and a separate toilet and a wash basin in another unit, with access enabling the guests to use the 2 toilets simultaneously.
Directions to Wirawa Estate Bungalow
Guests coming from Colombo via Ginigathhena – should proceed on the Kandy – Hatton Road upto Nawalapitiya which is the turn-off point to the Wirawa Estate. From Nawalapitiya one should proceed on the Dolabage Raod (Route B318) and at Craighead Tea Estate junction (15 kms) one should turn left onto Gampola Road (Route B132) and proceed another 5 kms to Wirawa Junction and turn right onto Uduwella Road and travel approximately another 600 kms to reach the Bungalow.
Guests coming from Kandy – the turn-off point is at the Gampola town from the Kandy – Hatton highway. At the Gampola town one should take the Dolasbage Road (Route B132) and travel up to the town Cooroondoowatte (15 kms). From there proceed on Route B132 (a further 3.7 kms) upto Wirawa Junction and turn left onto Uduwella Road and travel approximately another 600 kms to reach the Bungalow.
